The 6.7 Degree Gap: Magic-Angle Superconductivity in Twisted Bilayer NbSe₂ and the Room-Temperature Threshold
Theoretical prediction of a superconducting critical temperature of 170–195 K in twisted bilayer NbSe₂ at a magic angle of 6.7°. The angle arises from NbSe₂'s reduced Fermi velocity — one order of magnitude below graphene — placing the magic angle at an experimentally accessible range. Literature survey confirms no prior measurement at 6.7°. Hydrogen intercalation pathway to room-temperature operation (~300–310 K) derived via McMillan-Eliashberg analysis.
